The Partner Card is now offering the hire purchase option at Kaubamaja

Starting from today, owners of the Partner Card can apply for hire purchase at the cash register when making purchases at Kaubamaja. When making a purchase ranging from 150 to 5,000 euros in the fashion, children’s, home, or beauty department, the payments can be distributed over thirty-six months. The provider of the hire purchase service is TKM Finants AS, a company of TKM Group, and in addition to Kaubamaja, the service will soon be available in other physical and online stores of the group.

‘The Kaubamaja department store is visited by more than 10,000 customers every day; customers regularly express their interest in hire purchase. I am glad that Kaubamaja is the first company in TKM group to offer this solution to its customers,’ said Erkki Laugus, Board Member of Kaubamaja AS. ‘As cold weather has arrived, the interest in outerwear has increased sharply, and hire purchase is a good option for Partner Card holders to spread their urgent expenses over a longer period of time,’ Laugus added.

‘We have been preparing the hire purchase service for the Partner Monthly Card for a long time and are happy to introduce it to our customers before their larger Christmas purchases. We will begin providing the service from Kaubamaja, thereby making many exclusive brands and domestic appliances more easily available,’ said Rene Paats, Partner Card Development Manager. ‘Applying for the hire purchase service is extremely easy and fast – the customer only needs to express their wish at the cash register and then log in to the partnerkaart.ee environment on their phone, where they will find the application. Then, they must provide the requested details, and the system will issue the decision within a minute and the customer can take the goods home immediately,’ explained Paats.

According to Paats, the Partner Monthly Card hire purchase service will first be provided at Kaubamaja, but will also be launched in the online stores in the near future. TKM Finants AS, subsidiary of the TKM Group, is providing financial services to the companies of the TKM Group (Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp AS) and the new service is a successor of the current credit limit service of the Partner Monthly Card, which is being used by 20,000 customers.

Partner Card is the shared loyalty programme of Kaubamaja, Selver, Delice, and I.L.U. and is the largest loyalty card in Estonia with its 720,000 customers. More information can be found at www.partnerkaart.ee
